Hi, I’m Anya.

I’m the founder of Can’t Wait for Vacay, a full-service travel agency built for people like me: 40+ adventurous spirits who want to see the world in style (read: comfortably, with a hint of luxury).

I’ve been to all seven continents, but I keep returning to my favorite three A’s – Antarctica, Australia, and Africa – for the wildlife and raw, breathtaking nature. I’m also scuba certified, which opened up a whole new dimension of travel for me. There’s just as much beauty beneath the surface as there is on land.

I travel both, solo and with my husband, so I know the freedom and challenges of going alone, as well as the joy (and occasional compromise) that comes with sharing the journey. Over the years, I’ve stayed in everything from boutique hotels and cozy B&Bs to luxury lodges, campgrounds, and glamping tents. I’ve joined small group tours, explored solo, and road-tripped through remote landscapes. That wide range of experience helps me speak with real insight when planning vacations for my clients – because I’ve actually been there, done that, and know what makes a trip feel seamless and special.

After years in the corporate world, I know exactly how hard it is to plan a trip when you’re juggling limited PTO and a busy schedule. That’s why I started this agency, to make travel easier, better, and less overwhelming for professionals like you.

When I’m not traveling, I’m home in Northern Virginia with my husband and our two rescue dogs; helping clients, reading a good thriller, or daydreaming about my next adventure. Trekking Kilimanjaro is on a top of my bucket list… but first I need to be able to conquer five flights of stairs without getting winded… 😉
